The Satin Spa is committed to providing natural therapies to enhance heath and well-being. All treatments will take a holistic approach looking at mind, body and spirit in order to provide optimum health care.
Founder: Lynne Knight
Lynne is a member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), and also a member of the Sussex Healer's Association.
Lynne has spent six years studying complementary therapies and has a level 3 Certificate in Reflexology techniques, a level 3 Diploma in Reflexology, a level 3 Diploma in Holistic Therapies, and a Foundation Science Degree in Complementary Healthcare. Lynne also trained with The Sussex Healers' Association and practices hands on healing. As part of her Foundation Degree Lynne carried out a 50 hour placement with the Complementary Therapy Department at her local Hospice, this involved administering aromatherapy and reflexology treatments to patients with advanced progressive illness. Prior to becoming a complementary therapist Lynne worked in the healthcare profession as a nursing auxiliary and clinic co-ordinator.
